Oops... forgot my promise

I promised I'd show you the funny cake from a year ago.  (My first legitimate attempt at a fancy cake.) 

 I'm sure the friend I made it for would choose to remain unnamed, since she she is uber-modest and this cake was for her lingerie shower  :)

I had to cut around large sheet cake to round the edges. 

I also had to cut holes in the chest so that I could insert cupcakes to make special raised boobies. 

Too bad you can't get the full effect from this picture :)

We made a miniature round cake and had a bakery transfer a photo of her face onto the icing.  We stuck the face-cake on the top of this body.   OH I wish we'd taken a picture of the finished cake!
